Vintage, handcrafted and special touches were what made Leah and Rob’s wedding day so unique and beautiful. Leah and Rob who are both native New Englanders who met and fell in love in Boston, MA. When they became engaged they knew they wanted a wedding that was very close to home and united their love not only for each other but for the New England scenery and aspects of their upbringings.

Sea glass, which Leah and her mom have been collecting for years from the beach of her parents second home in Puerto Rico; where Leah and Rob got engaged, was the inspiration for her color palette. Paired with the theme of important touches, Leah and Rob chose to get married in Leah’s family church, St. Theresa in Rye, NH. The dress mold that hung her dress was her great grandmothers as well as the tray, purse, handkerchief and cake server were all handed down to her from her mom and grandmas. Leah also chose to get ready at her family home in Hampton, NH where she has lived her entire life and was accompanied by her mom, wedding party and her family dog, Nemo. Another unique component were the favors: which were real Maine maple syrup that came from Robb’s parents farm in Maine.

Creating a day that felt very special, personal and filled with family was what was the most important to the lovely couple. An extra special treat was being able to leave the church in Rob’s uncle’s vintage Red Shelby Mustang, which was a perfect way to kick off the night and get the party started. At the reception guests enjoyed a beautiful setting at the Abenaqui Country Club that was so light and airy and continued the theme of simple, beautiful and personal touches. Handwritten guest names by the bride on her collected sea glass was really thoughtful and extra unique. Overall Leah and Rob’s day was magic and perfect for them in every way!
