Meg & Peter’s Royal Palms Wedding in Phoenix

At Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Meg and Peter married in a garden ceremony framed by stucco arches. White flowers and blue toile carried through to the candlelit reception, with Camelback Mountain beyond the grounds. Between the ceremony and dinner, they took a ride in a vintage white convertible, holding hands as Peter drove.

Getting ready at Royal Palms

Meg got ready behind the resort’s blue doors, sharing a moment with family before the ceremony. Nearby, Peter gathered with friends. The garden and shaded passageways offered a little quiet before everyone came together.

First look in the garden

Palms, shaded paths, and a view of Camelback Mountain surrounded Meg and Peter’s first look. Their portraits moved between the garden’s open spaces and the shelter of the trees.

Royal Palms garden ceremony

White flowers lined the aisle beneath the arches. Meg arrived with a family member, and Peter met her for the ring exchange. Family watched from the front row before the newlyweds walked back through the garden together.

After the ceremony, Meg and Peter left the garden for a ride in the convertible. Guests gathered beside the reflecting pool before heading inside for dinner.

Blue toile reception and first dance

Blue toile, white flowers, candles, and ribbons on the champagne glasses carried the garden palette into the reception. Guests welcomed Meg and Peter with applause. Dinner brought laughter, toasts, and tears; the Ben Mallare Band played for their first dance.
