Royal Palms in Scottsdale
Royal Palms is one of Scottsdale’s most beloved wedding venues, and for good reason. The Spanish Colonial architecture, the towering palms, the citrus-lined walkways — it all creates a setting that feels lush and romantic in a way that is distinctly Arizona. Tucked at the base of Camelback Mountain, the resort has an intimacy that larger properties cannot quite replicate.
As a photographer, what draws me to Royal Palms is the way the gardens create pockets of beautiful, diffused light throughout the day. The courtyard ceremonies are framed by old stone and green canopy, and the reception spaces glow with the kind of warm, amber light that makes every frame feel like a painting.
