Elise & Reed met at the University of Michigan their freshmen year through Elise's sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Reed's fraternity, Theta Chi. They lived in the same student dormitory, Bursley Hall and started dating their Senior year of college.

Reed proposed in their New York City apartment on May 5, 2016. He taped plane tickets on the door to the apartment so when Elise came home she saw the tickets, walked in the door, and asked him what they were about. At that moment Reed got down on one knee and asked Elise to spend the rest of their lives together. The tickets were for a surprise weekend trip to Quebec City, Canada to celebrate.

Elise's paster from MN and her mother officiated their wedding ceremony. It was such a special and personal ceremony that made everyone tear up. nnThe two have such a strong connection that was so special capturing their day. Every time they were around one other they couldn't help but tear up in joy and smile together.

Nine years in the “baking”, A Bakeshop has always been passionate about baking. She grew up in an Italian family learning how to make Italian deserts with her grandmother. In 2008, she dove head first into the bakery business with All Caked Up, specializing in custom weddings cakes, party cakes, cupcakes, and anything else that can satisfy a mean sweet tooth.

In 2014, she ventured out on her own and open her first bakery in Phoenix, Arizona. She now runs the finest bake shop in Phoenix creating the most incredible custom wedding cakes and other sweet treats.
